SIÂN PHILLIPS (Madame de Rosemonde). Welsh, Welsh-speaking Siân, a RADA gold medalist, spends most of her time on the London stage, starring in musicals (Pal Joey, A Little Night Music), classics (Shaw, Tennessee Williams) and new plays, also appearing at Stratford and the National (many Olivier nominations). Television work (I, Claudius, Platonov) has brought awards from the British Academy and the Royal Soc. New York: most recently Marlene (Tony nom.), Regrets Only and her own cabaret. She has worked for many remarkable film directors (Milos Foreman, Scorsese, Marc Evans). Many cast albums. Solo CD. Her two autobiographies were well received, and she was made CBE in 2000.
JESSICA COLLINS (La Présidente de Tourvel) is thrilled to be making her Broadway debut. Collins made her Off-Broadway debut in the world premiere of Manic Flight Reaction at Playwrights Horizons. While attending Juilliard, she performed in Macbeth, Three Sisters and Faust. She also attended the British American Drama Academy in England. Collins was a series regular on The Nine and guest starred on CSI, Law & Order: CI and Ghost Whisperer. Last fall, Collins wrapped the feature film Loss of a Teardrop Diamond opposite Bryce Howard and Ellen Burstyn.

JANE PFITSCH (Soprano, u/s Cécile Volanges, Émilie) is thrilled to be part of this dynamic production. She recently made her Broadway debut as Amy in John Doyle's Tony-winning revival of Company. CHRISTOPHER HAMPTON (Playwright). Christopher Hampton's plays, musicals and translations have garnered three Tony Awards, two Olivier Awards and the New York Theatre Critics Circle Award, while prizes for his film and television work include an Oscar, two BAFTAs and a Special Jury Prize at Cannes. Plays include The Talking Cure, White Chameleon, Tales From Hollywood, Les Liaisons Dangereuses, Treats, Savages, The Philanthropist and Total Eclipse. He wrote the book and lyrics (with Don Black) for the musicals Sunset Boulevard and Dracula and the libretto for the Philip Glass operas Waiting for the Barbarians and Appomattox. He has translated extensively from Chekhov, Ibsen, Moliere, Odon von Horvath and Yasmina Reza (including Art and Life (x) 3). His screenplays include The Quiet American, Mary Reilly, Total Eclipse, Dangerous Liaisons, Carrington, The Secret Agent and Imagining Argentina, the last three of which he also directed. His latest screenplay was for the film Atonement, which won both Golden Globe and BAFTA awards for Best Picture.
RUFUS NORRIS (Director) has directed extensively in the UK and London, where he lives with his partner Tanya Ronder and their two boys. He is associate artist at the Young Vic where productions include Tintin (Barbican and West End), Vernon God Little, Peribanez, Sleeping Beauty and Afore Night Came. Other recent work includes Festen and Blood Wedding at the Almeida, Festen going on to run in the West End and Broadway; Market Boy at the National Theatre; and Under the Blue Sky at the Royal Court. His production of Cabaret is currently running in the West End. Work with his own company Wink includes The Lizzie Play, Rosa Carnivora, The Art of Random Whistling and Strike Gently Away From Body. He has received two Evening Standard Awards, a Critics Circle Award and an Arts Foundation Fellowship.
